This is an incredible story about a 6-week-old puppy that miraculously survived a terrible disaster. A group of construction workers heard the puppy’s cries for help after a long day at work and knew they needed to act quickly. They searched for the source of the noise but couldn’t find anything until one of them looked up and saw a heart-wrenching sight. The puppy was caught in the claws of a hawk, soaring through the air with it.
Everyone was taken aback and unsure of how to react when the hawk suddenly let go of the Chihuahua, causing it to plummet to the ground. The team rushed over to examine the dog, and when they realized what had just happened, they were in disbelief.
Thankfully, the pup sustained only minor injuries, allowing the workers to scoop him up and take him to the closest veterinarian’s office. He was assessed and given the okay that he would recover fully.
The Austin Pet Center (AAC) received a small puppy who had multiple scrapes, bruises, and bumps but surprisingly, he was still in great shape despite being dropped from the sky by a hawk. To aid in his recovery, the puppy was administered IV fluids to help regain his strength after such a terrifying incident.
Good news! Tony Hawk, the small Chihuahua, is currently recuperating and receiving adequate nourishment. After he has completely healed, he will be up for adoption.
